The Gridiron Gentlemen Super Fun Prediction League: Week 15
Week 15 is upon us and we now know who will be landing on our shores for the FOUR games we have next year. Check out this week’s podcast for more news and views on that. As for the prediction league, well the net is closing in on James.
A very average (by his own standards) .500 week means that everyone gained some ground. Everyone apart from me. Serves me right for picking the Browns I guess. Credit to Dave this week who had some “out there” picks for Week 14 but came home with a 10-6 record that wasn’t bettered. After all of that, the standings look like this:
So with just one game in it, did anyone make a bold choice for Week 15? Of course they did. It’s how we roll.
Los Angeles Rams @ Seattle Seahawks
Jeff Fisher disappears off in to the California sunset just in time for the Rams to travel to Century Link. The toughest test yet for rookie Jared Goff.
Miami Dolphins @ New York Jets
The Jets were flexed out of prime time a few weeks back, and now they are flexed out of Sunday too with a Saturday Night Football special.
Cleveland Browns @ Buffalo Bills
Cleveland’s quest for the perfect(ly deplorable) season continues with a trip to Buffalo. Lets hope they’ve replaced the rubber.
Detroit Lions @ New York Giants
Two sneakily good defences and two teams who may meet again in the post season. Should be a good one.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Baltimore Ravens
Not the best time for your offense to become one dimensional and reliant on a rookie QB when Baltimore’s defense is awaiting you.
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cincinnati Bengals
Get your popcorn ready. These two teams don’t like each other very much. To coin a phrase “Dis gon be guuuud”
Indianapolis Colts @ Minnesota Vikings
Who knows what we’ll get in this one? Other than Andrew Luck being hit. A lot.
Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears
If this one isn’t played in a blizzard I shall be most disappointed.
Tennessee Titans @ Kansas City Chiefs
Divisional leaders go head to head with both having plenty of desire for the win. Quite possibly the game of the week.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Houston Texans
It’s about time for the annual “Save Gus his job” performance from the Jaguars.
New Orleans Saints @ Arizona Cardinals
Both teams are heading to London next year. Neither team are heading to the Play Offs this year. Probably.
San Francisco 49ers @ Atlanta Falcons
Expect to see more points from Atlanta than there were supporters in the stadium at Levis last week.
New England Patriots @ Denver Broncos
Tom Brady doesn’t much like playing in Denver. LeGarrette Blount might though.
Oakland Raiders @ San Diego Chargers
It’s in San Diego, so expect it to be like an Oakland home game. Both could be playing elsewhere next year.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Dallas Cowboys
As the panic in Dallas subsides having actually lost a game, Tampa Bay roll in to town with the chance to cause a total meltdown.
Carolina Panthers @ Washington Redskins
This week I fully expect Cam to appear post game in a floral smock and sequinned slingbacks.
Thursday. Saturday. Sunday. Monday. The football just keeps on coming this week!
