Your Final regular fantasy

This is it for many leagues, an in many it has come down to this, the final game of the season. In the Gents League A there are three teams all vying to be the regular season champions. In League B JPPs Missing Finger has already won the regular season. In the Auction league the Beaumont Bullets have already won the league and in the Quidditch League it is all to play for between the Gents team, Sons of AnarchyNY and Monterey Hairy Otters. So with that let’s take a quick look at who to start and who not.

Tight Ends

I am going to start with Tight Ends, for some reason. Mainly because of the question mark around Gronk. Apparently he is going to see some snaps, though is still a game time decision. So other options around are limited but you may have some players on the bench and here are some other starter options, all based on the last four games.

The Jags have given up the most points to tight ends, so Coby Fleener is not a bad option, available in 36% of leagues. Eric Ebron has a favourable match up against the Rams a mean of 13.35 points per game to TEs and he is available in 89% of leagues. The Broncos Owen Daniels is generally available and the Raiders have been giving up 8.8 points per game recently. Could be worth a look.

Running Backs

Well my top picks are actually Doug Martin, LeSean McCoy and Latavius Murray. TJ Yeldon is a great shout against the Colts. Now apparently the Chiefs have allowed 14 points per week over the last four games, but I am not sure Danny Woodhead is anything  but a very risky bet at flex. I actually think even Charles Sims will get points this week, as the Saints have been giving up the most points to running backs recently. I know the Browns are a mess on offense but everyone has been able to run against the 49ers in fantasy terms at least. They have been giving up 29 points per game over the last 4 weeks, Duke Johnson and Isaiah Crowell could be nice choices and actually the Rams have also been giving up points to running backs, so how about start the Lions’ Theo Riddick and Ameer Abdullah.

Wide receiver

The Browns apart from being a constant disappointment have given up the most points to wide receivers in the last four weeks, making Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith interesting and potentially good scoring prospects. I know you’ll be starting Allen Robinson but Allen Hurns is back as well and these two could get monster points against the team that has allowed the second most points to receivers over the last four weeks.

You were always going to be starting Eric Decker and Brandon Marshall because the Titans have been the team to allow the 5th most points to receivers over the last 4 weeks. But Dorial Green-Beckham could be a good prospect against the Jets who have allowed the 6th most point to receivers. Not that I think it will be a shoot out but with Kendall Wright in active, Green-Beckham is a good shout.

As a flex or possible no.2, Dwayne Harris is up against a Dolphins d that has allowed 26.68 points per game for the last four, meaning him and Reuben Randle could get some points.

Defence

This week the Chiefs are the defense to start, followed by Lions, Packers, maybe Jaguars and even Oakland are worth a start. Obviously you’re starting the likes of the Texans, Broncos and Panthers defense.

Ok well that is it for the last regular game of the season. Finished with under 20 mins to go. Nice.
