Best Bets: Week 8
Back in the comfort zone and back to losing ways. I didn’t like the person I became in those winning days. Bragging about all my new things just isn’t me. I was actually delighted when the Bills threw away a lead and the Browns couldn’t defend a Hail Mary. It wasn’t as fun as the 0-3 days but hopefully we can get back there this week…
Browns +2.5 vs Jets
I pick them pretty much every week and this week is going to be no different. They get off the mark this week with a win against the dreadful Jets. How can this New York team be giving up points to anybody?
Josh McCown should be back in the line-up and he will lead Cleveland and more importantly us to a glorious win as the Browns start the beginning of the greatest comeback in the history of sport and win the Super Bowl.
Seahawks -1 at Saints
I feel like I could put up 21 on this Saints defence. We all know about that wonderful 6-6 tie last week but Russell Wilson and the offence should score at will this week. Drew Brees will put up some points, he always does, but it won’t be enough as the Seahawks win comfortably.
Also, Jimmy Graham revenge game anyone? 13/10 to score a touchdown.
Lions +2.5 at Texans
Anybody who listened to this week’s podcast (why haven’t you if not?) will know my thoughts on this one. I’m not exactly the biggest of Brock Osweiler fans. He is just bad. Matthew Stafford has been great this season and will continue that against the Texans. They have enough to win this one outright and get right into the playoff picture in the NFC.
Give me the points, give me Stafford, give me whatever side Brock Osweiler isn’t on.
